DFA label's poppiest release yet is a one-man-band out of New Zealand. DFA moves away from its typical dance-punk sound and gets all wussy on us. The lo-fi aesthetic and melancholic charm reminds us of Pavement meets the Field Mice, but the over-the-top drums sets it apart from anything we've ever heard before.

After a long and dramatic journey, Michaela and the former nursery orphans from Nairobi arrive at Ithumba, the new release site in northern Tsavo. Back in Nairobi, the four baby elephants left behind are struggling to cope with the grief of losing their mini-matriarch, Wendi.

Having broken out of the Zoo-Niverse, vain jazzman Howard (Barratt) and '60s throwback Vince (Fielding) are free to explore the globe in search of fame and fortune, accompanied by in-house Shaman Naboo (Michael Fielding) and Bollo the talking ape (Dave Brown). Rich Fulcher also returns to play a range of extraordinary characters. Unfortunately things don't quite work out as planned and it's not long before they are kidnapped by the mythical Yeti, battling the evil Betamax bandit, abducted by the merman of the Black Lake and experiencing the nightmare of Milky Joe … the talking coconut.
